Why it is hard to measure

The app is where nearly everything goes wrong: activation that fails on arrival, QR codes that will not scan, balances that do not update, plans that silently expire. For most users the app is the product, yet marketing pages never mention it.

What a good provider looks like

We mine the most recent reviews on both the iOS App Store and Google Play and run sentiment and topic analysis to separate genuine usability from review-bombing and fake five-star padding. A good app activates in seconds, shows your balance honestly, and lets you fix problems yourself.

How it feeds the score

App quality is worth a tenth of the score and is one of our hardest-to-fake signals — it draws on real, dated, public user reviews rather than anything a provider can edit.

iOS App Store + Google Play ratings + review sentiment analysis across the most recent 500 reviews per platform.
