Whether the provider has a plan that fits your trip, or forces you into one that does not.

Why it is hard to measure

A perfect price is useless if the only plan on offer is the wrong shape for your trip. Some providers sell rigid 30-day blocks; others let you top up, extend, pause, or buy a single regional plan that covers a whole itinerary.

What a good provider looks like

High scorers offer a genuine range of durations, reliable top-ups so you are not forced to re-buy mid-trip, real unlimited tiers where they claim them, and regional or global plans for multi-country routes. Flexibility is freedom from buying the wrong thing.

How it feeds the score

Flexibility carries a tenth of the total. It rarely makes or breaks a provider on its own, but it is the difference between a plan that fits and one you fight with for two weeks.

Range of durations, top-up support, unlimited tier availability, regional/global plan options.
